I’m an experienced small animal veterinarian. Which means I diagnose medical problems, perform surgery… and occasionally get outsmarted by a 4kg cat.

Vet’s Pawspective started as a way to document the gap between what we’re taught and what actually happens in practice.

Because no one tells you:

• how often “not eating” means “ate chicken 10 minutes ago”

• that “just one treat” is never just one

• or that some patients arrive with a better attitude than their owners

This site is part practical, part observational, and part survival mechanism.
